Play and make art with colored salt sand

Jedna super mama mi je prije par mjeseci poslala ovaj link kao dodatnu inspiraciju aktivnosti za djecu. Nekako smo u tom periodu već imali dosta toga u planu da uradimo i napravimo, pa smo malo sačekali sa ovom igrom. Dobro je da nisam zaboravila na ovo, jer je zaista bio pun pogodak.

Evo kako je to prošlo kod nas :-)

Ono što je potrebno je sljedeće:
- veća tepsija ili neki pladanj kako bi nered bio što manji
- dosta soli
- krede (bilo bi bolje da su one intenzivnijih boja, ali znam da je njih teško naći, pa mogu i one pastelne)
- teglica

Kašikicom stavljajte pomalo soli na pladanj (mi smo dodatno stavili i obični papir, ali to nije neophodno).

Zatim treba uzeti kredu i valjati je što jače preko soli. So će se obojiti :-)

Tako obojenu so prebacite u teglicu. Krajnji rezultat izgleda odprilike ovako

Ali naša igra tu nije bila gotova.

Prebacili smo so u dublju tepsiju. 

Onda smo prvo malo 'crtali'. duoBRO je naravno crtao vozila, ali mogu se npr. pisati slova ili brojevi.

I onda je na red došao 'construction site' :) 

Kamioničić, bager, valjak, i nešto pjeska... dječacima ne treba mnogo više za sate i sate igre. Iskreno vjerujem da je ovakva igra zanimljiva i djevojčicama. Možda ne sa autićima, ali ako se u pjesak ubace neki sudići mislim da će se i one dugo igrati (duoSIS je još mala za samostalnu igru, ali dok je braco spavao ona je iskoristila priliku i igrala se varijantom za dječake :) )

Ovo je nekoliko dana stajalo na stolu i tokom svakog dana se bar po sat vremena igrao sa pjeskom. 

Prije par dana sam ga napomenula na ovu igru, pa smo opet bojili pjesak kako bi ga bilo više i opet je bilo zanimljivo. 

Bilo je tu malo prosipanja po podu, ali ništa previše. Vrijeme koje je proveo ovako igrajući je vrijedno pospremanja malo nereda.

Pattern block mats

Ova sedmica je bila baš puna nekih dešavanja i to uglavnom lijepih i pozitivnih. I kao rezulatat se već naziru neki planovi, ali više o tome uskoro u nekom novom postu :)

Nego, želim da vam pokažem čime smo se ove sedmice igrali dok smo bili kući. 

Naime, slučajno sam naišla na post u kojem postoji link za download pattern block podloga. Zadatak je od nekih osnovnih geometrijskih oblika složiti npr. voz ili auto ili leptira ili žirafu...

Oblici se mogu odprintati u boji, iskružiti i kasnije redati na iste samo bez boje, ali ako nemate printer u boji, uvijek dijete, ili vi, možete prvo obojiti oblike, pa ih tek onda izrezati.

A ja sam nama napravila i nekoliko dodatnih (klikom na ime ispod slike možete ih download-ovati). Naravno i dalje su transportna vozila u pitanju :)

Ako vam ne odgovoaraju ovi pojmovi, na internetu vrlo lako možete naći i druge koji vašem mališanu mogu biti zanimljiviji.

Inače se ove 'slagalice' mogu i kupiti, napravljene su od drveta i mogu se koristiti za razne aktivnosti i učenje. Ja ih nažalost nisam nigdje vidjela u lokalnim prodavnicama, pa nam je ova papirna varijanta trenutno dobra zamjena.

Hot Wheels Garage

It's official, I'm a terrible blogger! But it is also official that having two sick kids and blogging just don't work together! When we finally were finished with all those flues, we had some workers in our home, but I will write about the details hopefully in some future posts :)  

I just want to say, I'm not giving up. :) I have sooooooooooo many things to write about but soooooooooo little free time. I really like and enjoy to share different activities and ideas and I will give my best to get back on tracks. And I feel so wonderful when I get a feedback from some of you guys who are reading this that you really enjoy and like what I do. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT! Love you all!

OK, enough with babbling :) I own you one more car activity for your little car lovers.

Is there anywhere a boy who has too many hot wheels cars?! I don't think so! :) So here is an idea how you can, sort them but also play, and it will make an easy job for you to find THE ONE they are looking for, when you are at the door and already late to be somewhere (familiar with this situation?!)

Basically you just have to use a toilet paper roles and put them in the shoe box. The trick is to find a box with perfect sizes. The one we used is 30x24x10 cm.

On the inside of the cover we draw roads, parking lots, fire station, hospital, etc. It is not a play-mat but it is OK for some play. This can be great for playing in the car if you are traveling with the kids. 

And when a play is over, park all the cars in their spaces, and close the box. Score! :)

Shaving cream on the mirror play with cars

Did you ever thought that it is possible to have fun with a shaving cream? Trust me, it is :)

For this activity you will need:

- shaving cream

- mirror

- cars - lots of them

- something to cover the floor (to protect it, just in case)

Just put the cream on the mirror and let the fun begin.

This is how we started:

And it just got better and better. This little guy couldn't stop saying how he is happy and how this is fun :)

It kept him busy for at least an hour. 

And after the cream started to disappear we did some sensory play. :)  

Since it was such a great success, we repeat it pretty soon. But second time we pushed it further, again, and added colors to the shaving cream. And we added boats to the play as well.

I know it looks like a big mess and it kinda is, but I think it is worth it, because it was a great play. And all you have to do, after the play is finished, is to put the mirror and cars in bathtub and clean them with some water.

Painting with cars

Here is super simple, but super fun activity. But be warn, it can get messy :)

This is what you need: 

• little cars (try to find ones with different texture on the wheels)
• paint
• paper
• plastic plate to put and mix paints

And let the fun and creativity begin.

This little guy is not such a fun of painting, but when you add some boyish stuff like cars, he is overjoyed :)

We did this a couple of times and every time was a huge hit. We've always planed a bath time after it, so that we can clean all the cars.

DIY CAR TRACK

 Well, here is an updated version:

Instead of using electrical tape, I used the masking tape now. It is much, much better, easier to place, very easy to remove, and it's cheaper.

This activity is so creative, it can be different every time you try it. With this you can help your kid learn left and right, learn about traffic rules, if they are old enough you can help them in reading skills. You see how we put name at the end of every line? Those are names of duoBRO best friends so we tried to read a bit, because he already knows the letters. We also added some places we usually visit like kindergarten, mall, playground, swimming pool, or daddy's office.

My tasks for him would go something like this 'start at your house, go down the green street and pick up a friend, and then go to swimming pool together'

Of course, you must listen and follow your child, so for example we had a crash accident and had to call the police :)
